Regenerative Livestock Operations

The demonstrative permaculture farm aims to promote regenerative animal-raising operations, based on rotational grazing.

The idea is to inspire through best practices, generate detailed management protocols for organic breeding operations, provide breeding for these operations and provide adequate training for the processing of high-value products.

We are analyzing a wide range of operations with animals (chickens, turkeys, ducks, pigs, sheep, goats and cows), focusing on meat, milk and egg-related projects.

In 2022 we plan on finishing the infrastructure for these operations: mobile shelters for different animals, a fixed stable to store food and provide shelter for certain animals at night, sturdy electric fences, water infrastructure, implementation of organic and local diets for all the animals, a sanitation protocol based on natural medicine, and mobile infrastructure for slaughter.

Once the design at the Lum Ha’ farm is finished, we will focus on supporting the development of the same design in the region.
